Yes, even podcasters need a vacation.

Sure, it’s a low-intensity job, but believe me — getting folks to sit for in-depth interviews in the dog days of summer is a chore, and I could do with resting the ol’ vocal chords for a bit. And of course, the hardworking climate proofers who make the show what it is deserve a break from my incessant questions, too!

All this is to say that Climate Proofers is on hiatus until September 2. We plan to be back with a bang, though — it’s New York Climate Week in September, and we have a host of special episodes scheduled to celebrate the event with some cool new partners. Fingers crossed, we may even be able to book some studio time, so you can watch the episodes in glorious HD on YouTube.

To get you through August, see below a recap of our most listened-to episodes from this year so far — complete with video clips and transcripts. Let me know in the comments or by email who’s your favorite!

Also, this is the perfect time for listeners to get in touch with who they want to hear from in future episodes. Is there a particular start-up you’re dying to learn more about? Maybe a policy egghead with maverick views on scaling adaptation finance?

Whoever it is, ping an email to [email protected] and I’ll look into it.

🙏 Also, a reminder that Climate Proof is in the middle of a membership drive — we’re looking to sign up 300 paying members by September 30. Members get access to lots more goodies, including access to the transcripts of each Climate Proofers episode. Upgrade today here👇

However you spend it, I hope you have a fulfilling and energizing August. Climate Proofers will see you in September.
