👋 Dear Climate Proof readers and listeners,
I'm delighted to share that I’m expecting a new addition to my family soon — which means I'll be taking paternity leave through the end of June.
Running Climate Proof as a solo operation, I wanted to be upfront with you about what that means for the publication. The short version: it continues.
Here's what to expect:
➤ The Monday news round-up will continue to land in your inbox every week as usual, with one change: the ‘What I'm Thinking About This Week’ section will be on pause while I’m out — as I doubt I’ll have the brain space for original thought amidst diaper changes!
➤ A small number of pre-recorded podcast interviews will go out over the period to keep your ears happy
➤ The Adaptation10 series will carry on as normal throughout May and June
➤ For members, there will be two in-depth features over the period — more detail on those to come.
Plus, I’m excited to share that we'll be launching a series of special reports in partnership with some excellent organizations working at the frontier of climate adaptation, and a new interview series with adaptech founders tackling the knottiest climate-related challenges.
I’m grateful for your patience and understanding as my wife and I embark on this life change. Building Climate Proof as a one-person shop means moments like this require a little faith from readers — and I don’t take that for granted.
