Terms of Use — "The Adaptation Dealbook"

Access. The Dealbook is included with an active Climate Proof subscription. Access ends when the subscription ends. Administrators may also grant access to invited users.

Your account. Sign-in links are personal. Do not share them or let others use your account. You are responsible for activity under it.

Signing in means accepting these terms. By requesting a sign-in link you accept these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. We record the version in force when you sign in.

The data. Deal records are compiled from public sources and the Climate Proof newsletter. They are provided for information and research. They are not investment, legal or financial advice, and we do not warrant that any record is complete or current. Undisclosed values are shown as undisclosed and are never estimated.

Permitted use. You may use the Dealbook for your own research and internal work, and quote individual records with attribution to Climate Proof. You may not scrape, bulk-export, republish or resell the database or a substantial part of it, or use it to build a competing product, without written permission.

Corrections you submit. By submitting a correction you give Climate Proof a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use it in the Dealbook and confirm you have the right to share it.

Availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw the Dealbook or any feature at any time. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it.

Suspension. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or where we reasonably suspect misuse.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, Climate Proof Media is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the Dealbook, or for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms, and/or Climate Proof Media LLC will be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the State of New York, in each case located in the City of New York and County of New York.

Changes. We may update these terms. Material changes are shown to members on their next sign-in, and continued use means acceptance.
